Beta programme notice

Version 2026-07-15. Applies while the service is marked "beta" in the sign-in flow or in-app.

1. What "beta" means here

X-com is currently in a closed beta. Access is granted manually and can be revoked at any time. Features, APIs, and data schemas may change without notice. The service is provided for evaluation and feedback, not for production workloads.

2. No service-level commitments

3. Data resets and portability

We may need to reset the beta database once or more before general availability. Where a reset is planned, we will give at least seven days' notice by email and expose an export endpoint. Do not store data during the beta that you cannot afford to lose or cannot re-import.

4. Data you must not upload during the beta

These restrictions exist because the beta environment does not yet carry the certifications or contractual controls that regulated data requires. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.

5. Feedback and telemetry

We collect standard application telemetry (see the privacy notice) and may reach out for interviews or written feedback. Participation is optional; any recorded material is retained under the retention schedule in the privacy notice and deleted on request.

6. Confidentiality

Non-public features, prices, and product plans shared with beta testers are confidential. Screenshots or descriptions of clearly unreleased UI should not be posted publicly without our written consent. Public discussion of the app's existence, general purpose, and your own feedback is fine.

7. Termination

Either party may end beta access at any time. On termination we will provide a data export for at least 30 days, then delete beta data subject to legal-hold and backup retention (see privacy notice).
